IN A LANDSCAPE: CLASSICAL MUSIC IN THE WILD | B&B CALENDAR AUGUST FEATURED ORGANIZATION
Founded in 2016 by classical pianist Hunter Noack, In a Landscape is an outdoor concert series where America’s stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall. They bring a 9-foot Steinway grand piano on a flatbed trailer to National Parks, urban greenspaces, working ranches, farms, and historical sites.
Featured on the August calendar is a photo of Hunter playing at Smith Rock in Central Oregon. During these concerts, music is transmitted to concert-goers via wireless headphones giving attendees the freedom to explore the landscape; no longer confined to their seats and might just find themselves on “stage” with Hunter.
In a Landscape has presented over 200 concerts for audiences in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, New York, Utah, Wyoming, and California to over 30,000 people.
