About the Project

NACF supported the Portland Art Museum’s Mesh exhibition (2021-2022), which featured the bold work of four Native early-career artists, including Lynnette Haozous, who apprenticed with an established artist as part of the
NACF Mentor Artist Fellowship program. Through NACF’s Mentor Artist Fellowship Program, 31 Native artists and culture bearers received support to mentor the next generation of emerging artists.
