Asian Elephant | B&B Calendar February Featured Animal
Asian elephants are native to the forests of India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia. They are among the largest land animals in the world, weighing 6,000 to 13,000 pounds and standing 7 to 10 feet tall. Highly social and intelligent, they live in close-knit herds, communicate with low-frequency rumbles, and care deeply for their calves.
